Who’s this guru guy?
Consistency – It is only a virtue if you are not screwing up
I hate watching good people and good ideas go down in flames because of tactical bumbling.
I am Kirk Shelley for over 25 years I have been working in politics.
So what can a political hack teach you about tactics that affects your life?
Don’t you want to know how politicians manipulate you? Don’t you want to know how lobbiests and preasure groups manipulate the politicians? How do PR specialists spin the news? This is all stuff I’ve been privy too, and I think its time you know how all this works.
Look it’s darn difficult to learn how to get events to go your way. No one sits down and says “this is how I manipulated your Mom to make Pot Roast.” You may not care to use certain tactics, but you should know what tactics are being used against you.
A large part of what I do for my clients is to figure out how to get things done. You get things done with tactical implimentation.
So, what can I offer you? How about defence against manipulation? How about learning to implement your ideas? How about how to see through the crap the spin meisters and politicians throw at you?
I don’t claim that every tactic will work for you, but I do belive that the more aware you are of the variety of tactical options there are, the better your life will be.
A PERSONAL PLEA TO THE COMPITENT AND SMART
America needs you! You owe it to yourself, your family and you ideas to learn how to win. Let’s make it happen.

Tactics -- it's how you implement strategy. You use tactics all the time and they are being used against YOU too. You want to get out of the store quickly, so you make tactical judgments which line to get in, or to ask the manager to open another lane. Or it is bigger, like how you fire someone, or force them to quit. Some tactics you find ethical, others you may think are sleazy -- I'm not asking you to use a tactic, but being ignorant of a tactic doesn't make you virtuous; it just makes you a victim.
